He is survived by: his daughter Sonja Smoak Bowles (Mike) of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Trevor, Gracie, Sam Bowles, Riley and Ellison Smoak; his great grandchild Josie Kaye Wegmann-Bowles; his siblings, Ralph Alex Smoak (Sandy), John Alton Smoak (Susan), Mary Jane Porter, Ruby Pearl Minter (Mike) and Janet Hilda Smoak; and his close friend Richard Massey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
