With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Altman of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Halter and Lizetta Richards Halter; and her son Chadwick Ryan Altman. She is survived by: her husband Derrall Altman; her children, Bradley D. Altman (Stephanie) of Sumter and Angela Baker (Chris) of Walterboro; her siblings, Jeffrey Halter of Charleston, Henry Halter of Charleston, Katherine Bates of Charleston and Cindy O'Brien (John) of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Christa Baker, Taylor Altman, Chad Altman, Shelby Baker and Isabella Baker. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
