He was predeceased by: his father Olin Bennett. He is survived by: his mother Rita Crosby Bennett of Walterboro; his wife Joanne Ferris Bennett; his children, Brandy Bennett and John Allen Bennett, Jr.; and his brothers, Timothy O. Bennett of Walterboro and Mickey Bennett (Susan) of Walterboro. He is also survived by three nieces; as well as grandnieces and grandnephews.
