He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hale; his children, Gary Hale, Sr. of Walterboro and Teresa "Terry" Hale Byrd (Charles) of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Gary Hale, Jr. (Therasia), Sheryl Hale Dandridge (Aaron) and Christina "Christy" Byrd Watkins (Phil); and his stepgrandson Kevin McCubbins. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
