He is survived by: his wife Rose M. C. Salley; his children, Shawnya Mitchell-Sanders of Walterboro, Natyra Jackson of Greenville, Jonasia Salley (Herman) and Stanley Currie of Brooklyn; his adoptive children, Shaniqua Byrd, Raven Owens, Shante Owens and Tony Duesenberg of Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Christian Howard, Jayden M. Currie, Zahir Currie, Zy'maire Gamble, Payton Owens, Amecca Howard and Makayla Currie; his siblings, Fred J. Salley (Bea), Lewis Salley (Leslie), Gerald Salley (Debra) and Charlene Salley; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Salley and Jena Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Currie of Brooklyn; his godchildren, Deremous, Iyana, Amani and Tasana Mack; and his aunts, Pauline Dubois of White Plains and Helen Rhodes of Kansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
