He was predeceased by: his parent Chalmers Preacher; and his brother Howard Preacher. He is survived by: his parent Clarice Ulmer Preacher; his daughter Jessie Preacher Deal (Tyler) of Walterboro; his wife Deborah Preacher of Walterboro; his stepson David Burris of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Carter Deal and Alise Burris; his siblings, Leon Preacher (Annette) of Ruffin, Joyce Castor of Ruffin, Shirley Judy of Ruffin and Debbie Jones (Tim) of Ruffin; his mother-in-law Janie Rohde of Walterboro; and his sister-in-law Mary Preacher of Cottageville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
