It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John C. Hiott of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Clyde Hiott and Minnie DeWitt Hiott Platte; and his stepfather Roy Platte. He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Busby Hiott; his son John Christopher Hiott (Ellen) of Edisto Beach; his sister Patricia Hiott Overton of Sun City; and his grandsons, Brandon Christopher Hiott of Summerville and Bryce Ashton Hiott of Edisto Beach. He is also survived by four children, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
