With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Smith (Walterboro, South Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joel D.; her parents, Harmon Hiott and Cora Lee Crosby Johns; her son Joel Dewayne Smith, Jr.; her stepfather Henry Crosby Jr.; her brother Roy Hiott; her granddaughter Brandy McNeil; and her great great grandchild Roland Graham Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Needham (Kathy) of Walterboro, Mike Needham (Sonya) of Islandton, Jimmy Needham, Sr. (Debbie) of Walterboro, Kerry Needham of Walterboro and Susan Johnson (Kenny) of Walterboro. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Hiott (Cynthia); a sister-in-law, Minnie Hiott; three nephews and two nieces.
