She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Brown and Julia Ann Linder Brown; and her siblings, Hattie Lou Chisolm, Daisy Canadys, Albertha Salley, Willie Mae Williams, Lillie Ruth Stokes, Joseph, John Henry, Walter and Eddie Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Brown Childs (Jeffrey); her grandsons, Ethan and Evan Childs of Baltimore, Maryland.; and her sister-in-law Albertha Brown of Smoaks.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home (1767 Jefferies Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (486 Johnsville Rd, Smoaks, SC 29481).
