With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janie Rohde of Walterboro, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Robert Rohde; her parents, Henry Austin Price and Alice Irene Robertson Price; her sons, Gary Rohde, Ronald Rohde and Robert Rohde; and her brothers, Julius Price and Austin Price.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah B. Preacher of Walterboro and Richard K. Rohde of Walterboro; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Garvin, David Burris, April Willis, Becki Crosby, Tiffany Westbury, Jessie Deal, Ashley Rohde, Elaine Yeh and Layla Rohde. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Walterboro Chapel (1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488).
