She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Mizell and Blanche Walters Mizell; and her siblings, Edward Mizell, Rev. James Henry Mizell and Emily Craven.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Canaday; her sons, Kevin Canaday (Rebecca) and Robert Canaday (Lindsey); her grandchildren, Kaira, Sheldon, Mackenzie, Carly and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Ayden and Henzleigh; and her brother David Mizell (Linda).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home (117 Paul St, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
