He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Preston Bridge Jr. and Viola O'Quinn Bridge; and his sisters, Bernice Sharp and Jeannine Trefzler. He is survived by: his children, Allyson B. Griffin (Kevin) and Scott Bridge (Barbara) of Walterboro; his grandchildren, Carlyle, Matilyn Griffin, Owen Bridge, Jacob Davidson, Lauren and Tommy Astin; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Thomas (Joe), Edward M. "Ed" Sharp and Michael Smoak (Beth). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to either the Live Oak Cemetery, or to the First Baptist Church of Walterboro.
