He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Keefner and Marion Sarpaci Keefner; and his daughter Delores M. Lienberger. He is survived by: his wife Nicoletta Weisner Keefner; his sons, Richard M. Keefner (Susan) of Grays and Anthony N. Keefner of Atlanta, Georgia; his siblings, Deloris Turner of Chicago, Roger Keefner, Duane Keefner, Richard Keefner and Kenneth Keefner; his grandchildren, Joseph Young Keefner, Richard V. Keefner (Reyna) and Maria Lienberger; and his great grandchildren, Katherine, Nicole, Suzanne and Riley.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be directed in his memory to the following: Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 925 South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488; or to, Friends of the Colleton County Animal Shelter, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
