She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Allen and Mildred Massey Allen; and her siblings, Doris White, Hazel Cook, Wayne Allen, Raymond Allen, Leonard Allen and William "Bill" Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Smith of Lexington; her children, Michael Smith (Becky) of Plano, Texas and Shannon Sharp (Will) of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Bennett Smith, Erek Smith, Gracen Sharp and Ruby Claire Sharp.
