She was predeceased by: her parents, George C. Baxter and Fredea Celesta Burris Baxter; her husband Orin Martin; her grandsons, Orin "Teo" Feagin and Clifton Feagin; and her siblings, Barbara McWorter and Davis Baxter.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Brown (John) and Aeline Martin; her grandchildren, Christine Brown and Bobby Brown (Rebecca); her great grandchildren, Destiny Feagin and Olivia Feagin; her brother George Baxter, Jr.; her nieces, Kathy Joseph, Debbie Walker and Sharon Chaney; and her nephew Mike Lowry.
