It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Durden of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Carlos Durden and Elizabeth Rogers Durden; his grandmother Nether "NeNe" Drawdy Bishop; and his brother Steve Durden. He is survived by: his husband Darren Sarine of Walterboro; his daughters, Luanne Blanton (Gary) of Spartanburg and Lisa Gerenser (Bob) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Carla Wagner (Brian), Joel Carson (Terry), Jake Carson, Coleman Carson (Emily), Kara Gerenser (Brandon Barr) and Kellen Gerenser; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Turner, Judah Turner, Silas Wagner, Marley Barr and Magnolia Barr; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Page Wagner and Amara Wagner.
