He was predeceased by: his siblings, Stanley E. Johnson, Thomas E. Johnson, Mary Alice Johnson Lewis and Edna Johnson Frey. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Fuchs Tinley; his children, Frank F. "Chip" Tinley, III of Goose Creek, Susan Madelyn T. Campagno of Charleston and Lisa T. Ryan of Savannah; and his sister Brenda Johnson McBride of Waynesboro. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
