She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl Altman and Bobbie Chitty Altman; and her daughter Ginna Stophel. She is survived by: her husband Jim Stophel of Walterboro; her sons, Rhett Mixon of Walterboro and Kevin Mixon (Donna Gail) of Ruffin; her granddaughters, Sarah Hayden (Brandon) of Ruffin and Amanda Alvarez (Bryan) of Ruffin; her sons, Owen Hayden and Addison Hayden; her sisters, Shirley Lightsey (Charles) of Hampton and Alice Cook of Hampton; her nephews, Charlie Lightsey (Ana) and Will Lightsey; and her niece Kimberly Sullivan (Jake).
