She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Smith Waltz and Willie Clinton Waltz; and her siblings, Mildred "Billie" Waltz Ulmer and Freddie "Pete" Waltz. She is survived by: her husband Robert Howell Baggett, Sr.; her sons, Robert "Rob" Howell Baggett, Jr. and William Jonathan "Jon" Baggett (Ann); her grandchildren, Robert "Tyler" Baggett, Ashley Elizabeth Baggett and Trenton Yates Baggett; and her siblings, Roger Dale Waltz (Sonya) and Margaret Waltz Harrison. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the First Baptist Church of Walterboro.
