She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert G. Elkins Sr.; her parents, William Raymond Spires and Ruth Iris Sightler Spires; and her siblings, Donald, Karol, Lena and Sara.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Elkins, Gail Elkins, Gilbert Elkins Jr. (Kathy) and John Elkins; her brother Travis Spires; her grandchildren, Bert, Seth, Jon, Dylan, Leah Elkins and Jason Benton; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Liam, Hunter Benton, Gordan, Sebastain, Gabriel, Sophia Elkins, Hayden and Harlen Lee.
