She was predeceased by: her husband Dan Irvine Howard III; her parents, Walter William Brown and Ruth Wilkins Brown; her brother Gene Brown; her grandparents, Broadus, Eunice Brown, John and Florence Rebecca Wilkins; and her daughter-in-law Marsha Steedley Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Howard (Faye) and Beth Howard Jones (Billy) of Walterboro; her grandsons, Thomas Howard (Courtney), Robert Howard of Walterboro and Reid Jones of Gaffney; her stepgranddaughter Kennedy Bowen (Gunner) of Green Pond; her great grandchildren, Lennon Howard, Briar Mae Bowen, Addie Jones, Harrison and Hendrix Howard; her siblings, Margaret Brown Clary of Cary, NC, Claire Brown Poole of Raleigh, NC, William Brown (Karen) of Greenville and Jim Brown (Barbara) of Gaffney; and her sister-in-law Linda Atkins (Murray) of Charlotte, N. C.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Music Fund of Bethel Methodist Church, to the Parkinson Foundation, or to the charity of one's choice.
