She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethan W. Bingley and Effie L. Brown Bingley; her siblings, Shirley Ruth Bingley Roberson, Mary F. Bingley Parker and Wilman E. Bingley; and her son Michael J. Roberson.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Poindexter; her siblings, Salley Bingley Mays (John W.) and George L. Bingley (Linda Green); her nephews, Anthony L. Parker, Stanley Parker (Adrienne) and Nigel Bingley; and her great-niece Alyssa Parker. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
