She was predeceased by: her father Robert Leon Godwin; and her sisters, Patricia Godwin Simpson, Carolyn Godwin Howard and Peggy Godwin Smith. She is survived by: her mother Virginia Keller Godwin; her husband Dr. William Marshall Bennett, Jr.; her sons, Dr. Robert Bennett of Charleston, Kevin Godwin Bennett Sr. (Paige) of Santee and William Marshall Bennett, III of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren, Kevin Godwin Bennett, Jr., Janice Nicole Porter and Summer Elizabeth Bennett; and her niece Pam Howard of Simpsonville. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
