He was predeceased by: his parent Dowling Walter Lyons. He is survived by: his mother Aquilla Strickland Lyons of Smoaks; his wife Delphi Ann Strawn Lyons; his son Shane Lyons of Walterboro; his stepson Charles "Bowinkle" Thomas (Jennifer) of Walterboro; his grandson Palmer Thomas; his brother Tony Lyons (Pam); his niece Kimberly Lyons; and his nephew Randy Lyons. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
