He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Wright and Dorothy Reed Wright; his former wife Katharine Martin Wright; his brother Paul Wright; his great grandchild Molly Swanner; his sons-in-law, Bill Adkins and Mich Hutto; and his brother-in-law Raymond Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ryan Wright; his children, Allen Adkins, Doug Wright Jr. (Kim), Amy Hutto, Rhonda O'Quinn (Tim), Ronnie Stroble (Connie) and Kim Carter (Jamie); his sister Fay Cook; his sister-in-law Connie Wright; and his nephews, Randy and Ashley Wright.
