She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan Heyward Zeigler and Hazel Wright Zeigler Simmons; her brother Raymond J. Zeigler; and her friend A. J. Campbell. She is survived by: her children, David A. Soard (Criss Ann) of Walterboro and Sharon Sawyer (Mike) of Islandton; her sisters, Brenda Z. Ritter McMillan (H. M.) of Walterboro and Janice Z. Starner (Don) of Columbia; her sister-in-law Francis Zeigler of Savannah, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Krystopher "Chaz" Soard, T. J. Polk, Marshall Davis, Christina Sawyer and Matthew Sawyer. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
