It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Crosby of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dascher and Genevieve Dascher; her daughter Margaret Dessoye Avant; and her brother Edward Dascher, III. She is survived by: her husband James Kenneth Crosby of Walterboro; her children, Bernard Joseph Dessoye, III (Patricia) of Walterboro, James Edward Crosby (Michele) of Cottageville, Angela Velazquez (Jason) of Walterboro and Wendy Linder (Shane) of Smoaks; and her sisters, Cathy Risher (Robert) of Walterboro and Susan Huff (Gary) of Florida. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
