It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carroll Griffin (Walterboro, South Carolina), who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Eugene Griffin and Effie Ritter Griffin; his sister June Hudson; and his nephew Kent Boone. He is survived by: his spouse Terry Carter Griffin; his children, Carroll E. "Cal" Griffin Jr. (Prissy), Jill Burttram (Tracy) and Stephany Bates; his grandchildren, Callie, Gracie, Clay Griffin, Jennings, Olivia, Jake Burttram, Kadee, Ryan, Phillip and Brandon Muth; and his niece Kym Murdaugh (Dave). He is also survived by his special friends and co-workers.
In consideration of the recent surge in cases of the coronavirus, and with the health and safety of the community in mind, the family has decided to hold a public celebration of Carroll's life at a later date, which will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or to Truth Ministries, the Christian based Haiti relief organization.
