It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Pruett of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayford Cavender and Evene Pauley Cavender; her siblings, Larry Cavender and Peggy Cavender King; and her grandsons, Kelby Stanfield and Nathaniel Stanfield.
She is survived by: her children, Pruett (Laura), Kevin Pruett (Debbie), Karen Pruett Sandoval and Stephanie Pruett Stanfield (Duane); and her siblings, Judy Chapman, Gloria Facemyer, Tim Cavender, Jerry Cavender and Robin Butera. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
