With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burley Colson of Walterboro, South Carolina, born in Early Branch, South Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivy Colson and Wilma Youmans Colson. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Broderick Colson of Walterboro; his children, Katrena Colson Mortenson (Peter) of Lehi, Melanie Colson Taylor (Skip) of Charleston and James Brian Colson (Melissa) of Sandy, Utah; his grandchildren, Brittany Mortenson, Kimberly Saari (Jordan), Natalie Mortenson, Nathan Mortenson, Lauren Taylor, James B. Colson, Hannah Colson and Aubrey Colson; his great grandchild June Saari; and his sister Beverly Ann Wright of Walterboro.
