He is survived by: his children, Will Tate, Dallas Tate of Walterboro and Hal Tate (Katie) of Aiken; his grandchildren, Gage, Bryce, Brooklyn Farish, Henry, Charlie and Emily Tate; and his brothers, George Tate (Lynn) of Greenville and Sanders Tate (Donna) of Columbia.
