She was predeceased by: her husband John Gilmore Strickland Jr.; her parents, Mondell Crosby and Cornelia Nettles Crosby; her son John Daniel Strickland; and her sister Ginger Crosby.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Strickland (Emily) of Greenville and Renee Strickland Lowder (Wade) of Chapin; her grandchildren, Brantley Strickland (Amie), Ross, Connor Lowder, Ryne (Emilee), Josh Strickland and Katie O'Donnell (Sean); her great grandchildren, James Dawson Strickland, Christian, Penny and Michael O'Donnell; her siblings, Daniel M. Crosby (Lynah) and Neyle Robertson; and her daughter-in-law Janet Strickland.
In consideration of the circumstances that currently exist in the state and nation with the coronavirus pandemic, and with the health and safety of the community in mind, a private graveside service will be held at the Williams Cemetery, where Mrs. Strickland will be interred beside her late husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Williams Cemetery.
