She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome H. Shearer; and her sons, Douglas J. Shearer and Mark Shearer. She is survived by: her children, Susan S. Hilton, Tammye R. Cook (Robert), Robert W Cook II (Bobby), Ashley R. Mixson (Seth) and Gingaw; her great grandchildren, Willow, Audrey, Cutler, Johnny, Christian and Callie; and her siblings, Sandra D. Courie and Phil Drawdy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation as well as the Alzheimer's Foundation.
