She was predeceased by: her husband Charles S. Hatfield, Jr.; her parents, Melvin T. Wood and Lois Mims Wood; her son Charles Samuel "Butch" Hatfield, III; and her siblings, Floyd Wood, James Wood and Verona Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Dale Bynum (Bill) of Brevard and Judie Salisbury (Kevin) of Walterboro. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
