She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McDonald and Ruth Bennett McDonald; and her brothers, Henry Gadsden of Walterboro and Jimmy Givens of Savannah, Georgia.. She is survived by: her son Quinton Gerod Smalls; her grandsons, Kahliek Smalls of Charleston and Ayden Smalls of Summerville; her aunts, Elretha Smith (Henry) of Orangeburg, Channie Bell Crockett (James) of Lancaster and Olivia McDonald of Round; her cousins, McDonalds, Redell, Deborah, Gregory, Pamela, John John, Crockets, Bellenia and Mryna; her siblings, Vernecia Givens of Erhardt, Bobby Priester of Bamberg, Patricia Barnes (Tonnie), Kathy Thompson (Fred) of Orangeburg and Marilyn Michelle Murdaugh of Bamberg; her uncle Murphy Coleman of Suffolk, Virginia; and her sister-in-law Georgia Givens of Savannah Georgia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2020 at Stephens-Maree-Tracy Funeral Home from 3:00 p. m. - 7:00 p. m. (Those attending Graveside Service are Required to wear a Facial Mask, and Social Distancing will be enforced.) Lynn was raised in Round O, South Carolina where she was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church.
