She is survived by: her children, Katherine Michelle Avery of Bluffton and Joseph Wilson Polk of Walterboro; her siblings, Joseph Conrad Smith of Green Pond, Peggy Rast of Georgia, Shirley Lyles of Walterboro and Jackie Rebenski of Georgia; her close friend Cheryl Kelly of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Randy Allen Crosby, Jr., Courtney Michelle Crosby (Jose), Corey Leon Avery (Brittany), Craig Leon Avery, Jr. (Valerie), Christopher Michael Lemacks, Jacob Wilson Polk and Gabriel Lemacks; her great grandchildren, Julie Nicole Cook, Randy Allen Crosby, III, Daqaun Bush, Monte Bush, Aleeah Avery, Apollo Crosby, Kilaya Crosby, Timothy Avery, Skylar Tuten and Carleigh Avery; and her great great grandchild Brynleigh Nacole Crosby.
