With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Rae Beach (Walterboro, South Carolina), born in Smoaks, South Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Ervin Beach; and her parents, Dewey Hobson Varnadoe and Fannie Mae Bassett Varnadoe. She is survived by: her children, Larry Ervin Beach of Walterboro and Rose Beach Mendoza (Mike) of Johns Island; her sister Nell Lyons (Lehman) of Walterboro; and her grandchildren, Damien Beach of Walterboro and Brianna Mendoza of Columbia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to: Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, Care of Maxine Beach, 965 Burlington Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
