It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Kane (Walterboro, South Carolina), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Probst and Louella Vernon Probst; her son Harold E. Kane; and her granddaughter Mary Beth Kane. She is survived by: her husband Melvin H. Kane; her son Donald Gordon Kane (Robin) of Soddy Daisy; her grandchildren, Preston (Alex) and Molly Kane; her great grandchildren, Winnie and Solly Kane; her daughter-in-law Debra Kane O'Quinn (Mack) of Walterboro; and her sisters-in-law, Eunice George and Sunnie George. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ruffin Baptist Church.
