It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Hydrick of Walterboro, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Vardell Saunders and Lessie Parker Saunders; her husband Thomas Harold Hydrick, Jr.; her former husband Charles Tucker; and her siblings, William H. Saunders, Sr., Vivian Saunders and Jeanette Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Charles Hydrick (Marcia) of Seneca and John Saunders Hydrick (Kathy) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Tucker Thrift Hydrick (Ashlyn), Lauren Hydrick Koch (Clay) and Thomas Tyler Hydrick (Logan); and her friends, Mildred Yates, Lean Stephens and Miesha Yates. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
