She was predeceased by: her parents, James Irving Thomas and Gladys Lee Thomas; and her brothers, James Irving Thomas, Jr. and Robert Lee Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Amy Goehring Gurley (David) of Charlotte, NC, Richard Allen Goehring, III (Dee) of Charleston, SC and Allison Lee Goehring-Houck of Atlanta, GA.; her grandchildren, David Thomas Gurley, Annabella Grace Goehring, Jacqueline Elizabeth Goehring, Avery Elizabeth Gurley, Thomas Asher Goehring-Houck, Finley Bland Goehring-Houck and Beatrice Argoe Goehring; her brother William E. Thomas (JoAnne); her sister-in-law Joyce C. Thomas; her niece Debra Thomas; her nephews, Will Thomas and Bryan Thomas; the father of her children Richard Allen Goehring, Jr. (Mandy); and also Annabelle Rumph Jenkins.
