She was predeceased by: her parent Elijah Franklin Roberts; her son Jack Bowers; and her grandson Shaun Bowers. She is survived by: her parent Naomi Benton Roberts; her daughter Barbara Ann Hickman of Walterboro; her daughter-in-law Linda Ginn Bowers of Walterboro; and her grandchildren, Reggie Hickman, Jr., Jean Hickman Thompson (Aubrey), April Bowers Cantor and Angie Lee Bowers.
