She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Fripp Fishburne and Annie Ruth Cone Fishburne; her former husband Charles E. "Dickie" Godley Jr.; her husband Leonard T. Joye; and her sister Julie Fishburne Strickland.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise "Deni" Godley Grant (J. P.) of Hollywood; her grandchildren, Shelby, Tyler (Carolina) and Jaymie Grant; her great grandchildren, Austin, Toby, Kyla and Kendal; and her stepchildren, John Joye, Susan Muckenfuss (Rodney) and Tiffany Smith (Jerry).
