She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bud" Hicks, Sr. and Mary Collins Hicks; and her brothers, Robert Hicks, Olin Hicks, Donald Hicks and Thomas Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Chavis of Wallace, SC; her siblings, Charlie Hicks of Wallace, SC, Billy Hicks of Wallace, SC, Wayne Hicks of Wallace, SC, Lonnie Hicks (Joy) of Wallace, SC, Kathy Pruitt (Ken) of Chesnee, SC and Betty Terry of Ellerbe, NC; her grandchildren, Allen Chavis, Sr. (Buffy), Glenn Driggers (Susie), Linn Driggers (Criston) and Brandon Driggers (Stacie); her great grandchildren, Allen Chavis, Jr., Aaron Chavis, Hailey Driggers, Emily Driggers, Katelynn Driggers, Madison Driggers, Brandi Driggers, Cameron Driggers, Braylen Chavis and Joshua Driggers; and her great great grandchildren, Makenzie Chavis, Nautica Chavis and Kaycen Chavis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
