He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Blue Sr. and Sarah Hearn Blue Maness; his siblings, Malcolm "Button" Blue, Carlton Blue, Joy Blue and Linda Blue Rollins; and his grandson Matthew Randall.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Cottingham Blue of Wallace, SC; and his children, Melinda Randall (Michigan), Allen Blue (Lara) of Aberdeen and Chris Blue of Vass. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Regency Southern Care Hospice, 205 E Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
