She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Doc" and Emma Cox Hinson; her sons, Stanley F. Sweatt and Bobby Louis Sweatt; and her sisters, Nell Collins, Geraldine Walters Lewis and Florence Leviner.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Martini Waller (Tom); her sister Betty Lee; and her grandchildren, Alessandro Martini (Alyssa), Brent Sweatt and Stacey Sweatt.
