It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Scott of Wallace, South Carolina, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Stafford Purvis and Jack Scott, Sr.; and her siblings, Perry Purvis, James Purvis, Annie Gibson, Sarah Gibson, Nezzie Bolen, Ruth Barfield, Barbara Scott, Jackie Anderson and Cynthia Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Jack J. Scott (Crystal) of Cheraw, SC, Colby Jack, Virginia Gail Hooks of Cheraw, SC, Betty Jean Hawthorne (Gary) of Winter Haven, FL and Kathy Lynn Gatlin of Garland, TX. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
