He is survived by: his children, Leroy M. Cheek, Jr. (Peggy) of Wallace, SC, Deborah Dixon of Patrick, SC and Hazel Edwards (Robert) of Wallace, SC; and his siblings, George Franklyn Cheek of McColl, SC, Colon Lester Cheek, Jr. of McColl, SC and Brenda McLucas of Laurinburg, NC. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.
