It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Rainwater of Wallace, South Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wallace and Thelma Quick Rainwater; his brother Danny Rainwater; and his brother-in-law Wayne Perhealth. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Williams Rainwater; his sons, John Rainwater, Jr. (Wendy) of Wallace, SC and Joe Rainwater (Amy) of Wallace, SC; his stepdaughter Tammy Henkle (Keary) of Hamlet, NC; and his siblings, Richard Wayne Rainwater (Ann) of Wallace, SC, Carolyn Perhealth of Wallace, SC and Jeanette Sinclair (Richard) of Hamlet, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
