He was predeceased by: his parents, William Buck Sr. and Myrtle Blackman Buck; and his siblings, William "Bill" Buck, Jr., Henry "Gene" Buck, Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Lubelsky and Aleen Suggs.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Byrd Buck; his daughter Heather Buck Watson of Florence; his stepsons, Rodney Byrd (Erin) of Cheraw, Steve Byrd (Michelle) of Cheraw and David Byrd (Christy) of Cheraw; his siblings, Seldon Buck (Pam) of Springfield, TN and Norma Gunter of Darlington; his grandchildren, Faith Watson, Clayton Byrd, Lindsey Gainey (Brad), Lizz Byrd, Emilee Byrd, Julia Kate Byrd, Logan Byrd and Jackson Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Molly, Maggie and Marah. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and friends.
