She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Lee and Ernestine Rebecca Todd McElveen; her sons, Jimmy Darrell Hatcher and Jesse Mitchell Hatcher; her sister Connie Boatwright; and her siblings-in-law, Johnny Mesiemore and Peggy Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Gary Mitchell Hatcher (William Burroughs) of Salisbury, MD; her siblings, Boyd Johnson of Concord, NC, Johnny Johnson (Mary) of Cheraw, SC, Gary McElveen (Shirley) of Wallace, SC, Phillip McElveen (Bobbie) of Cheraw, SC, Mary Ann Mabe (Roger) of Jackson Spring, NC and Brenda Mesiemore of Zepher Hills, FL; her brother-in-law Tony Boatwright of Cheraw, SC; and her grandchildren, Jason Hatcher (Valerie), Collin Hatcher (Becky), Rodney Hatcher, Nickie Hatcher and Katie Hatcher. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
